Independence
out in front

The
latest national opinion poll has confirmed the move towards
Scottish Independence.
The
You-Gov poll conducted nationally in September has shown
that 44% now favour Scottish Independence with 42% seeking
the status quo and 14% don't knows.
The
poll is a boost to the SNP ahead of next years Holyrood
and Falkirk Council elections and confirms the findings
of local SNP activists on doorsteps.
Commenting
on the poll Michael Matheson MSP said,
"It
is clear that the people are reacting to the SNP's positive
agenda and completely rejecting Labour's tired old fears
and smears.
The
establishment of the Holyrood Parliament can not be reversed
and now people are looking for the parliament to be worthy
of that description as opposed to the toothless parish council
Tony Blair viewed the Scottish Parliament as in 1999.
Only
with full control over our own affairs can we have the type
of society we want to see in Scotland. The opinion poll
shows that more and more people now recognise that fact
and are coming behind the SNP's flagship policy."
