Storm Ahead In Latest Scottish Opinion Poll
The
SNP now has an 11% lead over New Labour in the latest opinion
poll commissioned in Scotland.
The
SNP are up to 40%, up 7% from May while the troubled and
discredited Labour Party have dropped 3% to 29% with the
other unionist parties also losing ground to the SNP.
The
poll is welcomed by Falkirk West MSP, Michael Matheson who
praised the performance of the SNP government.
Michael
said,
"People
have indicated their support for SNP policies such as the
abolition of the Council Tax, Prescription charges and the
restoration of free education for our young people.
These
are the policies that are at the heart of Scottish mainstream
opinion and demonstrates how out of touch the London based
parties are compared to the Scottish based SNP."
