Launch Let Falkirk Flourish Strategy

The
SNP in Falkirk district launched their 2007 strategy for
the creation of jobs and prosperity at a special meeting
held in the Falkirk Stadium, itself a symbol of SNP led
regeneration.
Around
40 members of the business community of Falkirk joined SNP
members for a Power Point presentation by Jim Mather the
SNP Enterprise spokesperson and Alex Neil MSP, convener
of the Scottish Parliament's Enterprise Committee. Also
present were Michael Matheson MSP, prospective parliamentary
candidate for Falkirk West and Annabelle Ewing, prospective
parliamentary candidate for Falkirk East.
Members
heard a detailed outline of the advantages for local business
of the SNP's proposals for cuts in the Small Business Rates.
Members
also heard that Scotland had dropped to 30th in the league
table of economies under Westminster rule.

of the Let Falkirk flourish document can be downloaded from
