Show Massive Support For English Independence

Sunday
telegraph support shows majority support for both Scottish
and English Independence marking a sea change in UK politics.
Proof
that the establishment of a devolved Scottish Parliament
has changed forever UK politics with independence now inevitable
was provided by a new opinion poll published by the Sunday
Telegraph.
The
poll confirms growing support for Scottish amongst the Scottish
electorate with 52% in favour against 38% for the status
quo.
However,
the poll also shows 59% in favour of Scottish independence
amongst voters south of the border. The same poll shows
68% of voters south of the border favour an English parliament
with 58% of Scots supporting independence for England.
The
poll was welcomed by Annabelle Ewing the SNP's prospective
candidate for Falkirk East in next year's Scottish parliamentary
elections.
"The
poll shows how much out of touch the Labour Party are with
public opinion both north and south of the border. The more
Blair and Brown bang on about saving the union the more
the people of both countries tell them they are not listening.
Scotland
is changing and New Labour are being left behind. The fears
and smears of the Labour MP's who's careers are more important
than the good governance of the Scottish people are no longer
registering.
People
want to believe that Scots can and will take responsibility
for determining our own priorities and looking after the
future. The old too poor and too stupid line that has held
back our country for too long no longer has any credibility
nor win favour with the Scottish people.
The
fact the people of England also appear to be rediscovering
their national pride is an added nail in the coffin of Union
Jack McConnell.
It
is the SNP that has tapped into the growing confidence of
the Scottish people and it is the SNP and independence that
is growing in support and status as we approach next year's
poll."
